History will be made this Sunday when Eastern Gaels make our Meath GAA Coolrite Junior B Championship debut in Seneschalstown GFC where we take on Cortown GFC.
We are really looking forward to competitive action as Meath’s newest club. It has been an eventful journey to get this far and no doubt there will be many more twists and turns on the road ahead.
Our Little Stars GAA Academy is up and running every Sunday morning from 11am to noon - all welcome!
Our Senior Ladies are playing in Round 2 of the Masita Cup also next Sunday, away to good friends and neighbours Slane GFC - throw-in is at 11am - all support welcome!
Work continues on our main pitch in Páirc Réalt na Mara, Tower Road, increasing playing capacity in the area by half.
Not bad progress in a little over five months - but still much to do.
Thanks to all our sponsors for your support thus far – it is much appreciated.
A big thank you too to our community here in East Meath who have been very supportive and the good wishes have been hugely encouraging!
If you would like to be a part of Meath GAA history why not come along and support Eastern Gaels next Sunday, throw in is at 3pm!
So now it’s down to business. Our lads are so looking forward to playing football.
Ádh mór … Gaels Abú.
