What a wonderful and historic occasion we had on Sunday morning last when we hosted our inaugural Little Stars GAA Academy. Given the history of the day even the sun turned up and ensured that everyone had a lot of fun.
Our young footballers and hurlers were delighted to throw and kick footballs, take on our assault course and get acquainted with their hurleys and helmets. There was a lot of happy faces, laughing and excitement … just what we want at our Academy – fun and games.
Come along any Sunday morning at 11am and join the fun.
Many thanks to our young Gaels and their parents for making it such an enjoyable and proud morning for our club. Thanks too to our own club members who assisted in preparing for Sunday and helped out on the day to make it such a memorable event.
As you may have noticed, work started on our pitches last week and Páirc Réalt na Mara already looks resplendent and offers so much potential. The work will continue in the coming weeks to ensure that our playing surface is of the highest quality.
Eastern Gaels are delighted to have surely one of the most picturesque homes in Meath GAA. We look forward to welcoming clubs from all over Meath and beyond and showing them what a beautiful part of the country we all live in.
Why not come along and join the club on the Boyne!
